Job summary

Sonoco is seeking a Commercial Analyst to develop cost estimates and set selling prices for customers and markets. You will lead pricing strategies, monitor margin performance, and drive improvements using ERP and price models.

A BS degree with 3+ years of pricing/analytical experience is required, along with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under pressure. Location is Charlotte, NC, with opportunities for leadership in pricing decisions and close

Qualifications

3+ years of commercial analyst experience.
BS degree required.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; understanding of P&L basics.

Responsibilities

Develop cost estimates and selling prices for assigned customers/markets.
Lead margin improvement initiatives and price change mechanisms.
Monitor variance between expected and actual margins and adjust pricing accordingly.
Maintain key customer relationships and perform ad hoc analyses for division management.
