Job summary

Sonepar Canada, Inc. is seeking a Pricing Analyst in Irving, TX to prepare pricing data, load updates, and maintain data integrity.

You will partner with Corporate Purchasing, Service Center Leaders, Operations Managers, Account Managers, and Accounts Payable to support internal teams and enable service to customers. The role requires a Master’s degree and strong Excel/SAP skills, with a focus on accuracy, analysis, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation – both external and internal.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports, statements, and projections.
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical.
• Organization. Proven ability to maintain several concurrent activities.
• Proficient in SAP or other enterprise software and advanced Excel.
• Flexibility to adapt to a stimulating, hectic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Support senior leadership in pricing models and structures to maximize revenue and margins.
• Generate routine reports and pull data for ad hoc analysis.
• Identify strategic customers/products requiring pricing adjustments.
• Facilitate electronic price updates for cost and sell conditions.
• Load pricing data and review information for accuracy.
• Maintain branch and customer pricing.
• Perform cost, material, and sell price maintenance in systems.
• Analyze market conditions and projected price points from market data.
• Monitor market changes that affect pricing and adapt accordingly.
• Develop understanding of market characteristics influencing pricing.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
