Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Senior Pricing Strategy Manager to develop pricing, packaging, and monetization strategies for a specific Business Unit. The role partners with Sales, Product, Finance, and Marketing to align pricing thought leadership with business goals.

The ideal candidate has extensive pricing experience, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to influence at VP/SVP levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline with 8+ years in pricing, sales, operations, consulting, or revenue management.
• MBA preferred or advanced degree considered for related experience.
• Ability to work across functional teams and organizational levels to deliver results.
• Ability to organize and prioritize workflow and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leaders in Sales, Sales Ops, Business Unit GMs, and Product to develop executable pricing strategies aligned to the business unit's GTM strategy.
• Requires strong knowledge of business, marketplace dynamics, sales team structure, and tools/technology that supports price execution.
• Provide thought leadership in pricing science and pricing models to guide partners in developing sustainable pricing to meet revenue objectives.
• Collaborate with Product and IT teams to ensure strategies are executable within system limitations and marketplace realities.
• Drive pricing analytics, discounting and rebate strategies, and new product monetization through analysis and market testing.
• Foster a strong partnership between the Pricing Strategy team and business GMs, Sales Leaders, and Product teams.
• Provide subject matter expertise to guide transformational pricing initiatives within the business.
• Support pricing discussions with VP & SVP level executives in the core business unit.
• Develop relationships as trusted advisor with key VP/SVP GMs within the business.
• Solution Sets include: Retail Consumer Solutions, Retail Dealer Solutions, Mobility Fleet Services, Mobility Fleet Operations, Mobility EV Battery Solutions, Manheim, Inventory Management Solutions, NextGear Capital.
• Solution Groups: Inventory, Retail, Mobility, Financial, Cox Automotive (Enterprise)
