Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking an analytical pricing analyst to design and implement pricing strategies within the logistics and transportation sector.

You will build predictive pricing models, translate data into actionable insights, and partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to support strategic objectives. You will develop automated tools and dashboards, perform what-if analyses, and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to optimize profitability and market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2 years' experience; or a different combination such as a master's with up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience with no degree.
• Knowledge of Oracle or SQL Server is a plus.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills to transform data into actionable business insights.
• Ability to tell a story with data and present to varied audiences.
• Self-starter with intellectual curiosity and strong work ethic.
• Proven problem-solving能力 to identify causes, generate solutions and recommend actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present to executives.

Responsibilities

• Develop pricing strategies that balance profitability, market share, and customer retention.
• Build predictive pricing models using SQL, Excel, or data visualization tools.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align pricing with strategic objectives and real-time market conditions.
• Determine pricing optimizations based on customer segments, geography, and competition.
• Analyze industry trends, capacity fluctuations, and competitor behaviors to adjust pricing frameworks.
• Monitor pricing health and provide data-informed insights and corrective actions.
• Design automated pricing tools, dashboards, and APIs to streamline quoting.
• Run what-if analyses on market changes, fuel costs, and customer mix.
• Present data-driven recommendations and pricing performance to senior leadership.
