Job summary

MV Transportation seeks a Pricing Director to drive profitable growth by leading pricing strategy across bids and opportunities. You will prepare pricing models, develop competitive cost bases from RFPs, and collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Finance, HR, Maintenance, IT, Risk and Safety to shape strategy and pricing assumptions.

Strong communication to senior leadership and clients essential.

Qualifications

BA/BS in Finance or Accounting required.
5+ years in Finance or Accounting experience preferred.
2+ years pricing experience in transportation or automotive industry.
2+ years managerial or supervisory experience.
Experience developing financial/budget models and communicating recommendations.
Analytically driven problem solver with multiple solutions and risk evaluation.
Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional influence.
Proficiency in MS Office with advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).

Responsibilities

Prepare pricing models for new and existing opportunities.
Develop competitive cost bases from RFP documents to win profitable business.
Collaborate with Business Development, Operations, Finance, HR, Maintenance, IT, Risk and Safety to shape pricing strategy.
Develop and enhance pricing analysis to support bid recommendations.
Coordinate and lead customer pricing reviews with proactive solutions.
Present pricing solutions to senior leadership and clients.
Ensure controls over pricing activities to protect profitability.
Involvement in ad hoc pricing projects; travel may be required (5%).
