Job summary

T-Mobile USA's Core Pricing team seeks analytical problem solvers to own end-to-end workstreams on postpaid pricing decisions. You will partner with Marketing, Finance, Product, and Sales to shape value propositions and guide leadership on strategic pricing choices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business (Finance, Accounting), Economics, Statistics, or related quantitative field.
• Master's degree in a quantitative field with 5+ years relevant experience (Preferred).
• Ph.D. in a quantitative field with 2+ years related work experience (Preferred).
• Strong analytical skills translating data into insight and building business cases.
• Advanced SQL and Excel; familiarity with R, Python, Tableau or Power BI; Snowflake experience.
• Prior telecom, subscription, or recurring-revenue pricing/finance background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the economic case for major postpaid pricing decisions, including new rate plan architecture and value propositions, from framing the question through leadership recommendations.
• Estimate demand response: price elasticity, take rates, mix shift, cannibalization across plans, products and segments.
• Build financial models with scenario and sensitivity analysis, explicit assumptions, anticipated competitive response.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to craft options and present them to senior leadership.
• Develop understanding of industry, competitive, corporate, and customer drivers to optimize pricing strategy and the corporate profit model.
