Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead the Preconstruction Group from notice of award to mobilization. The role is fully remote with coordination across engineering, procurement, and legal teams to manage scope, budget, and schedule.

Responsibilities include cost control, bid packages, LNTP creation, and risk mitigation while ensuring timely reporting and successful project delivery. Applicants should have 5+ years in construction and be able to travel ~25%.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related degree and construction knowledge.
• Strong plan reading and cost control understanding.
• 5+ years in construction with project engineering or supervision.

Responsibilities

• Able to perform all Preconstruction Project Engineer responsibilities.
• Maintain cost control ledger and cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness.
• Supervise Preconstruction Engineers and clerical staff.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to define scopes and LNTPs.
• Track design requirements and material lead-times; manage procurement.
