Job summary

Bryan Construction Inc. in Huntsville, AL seeks a Preconstruction Manager to lead planning and early-stage project development, ensuring projects are well scoped, competitively priced, and prepared for a successful build.

This role oversees budgeting, estimating, and constructability reviews from pursuit through contract execution, collaborating with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams. You will develop comprehensive preconstruction deliverables, identify risks and opportunities,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience using estimating forms and software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience as a Senior Estimator or Project Manager is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead preconstruction activities from pursuit through award and buyout.
Direct RFP strategy, messaging, and preconstruction interviews with the proposal team.
Oversee drawings, specs, bid documents, and subcontractor coordination.
Identify risks, opportunities, and cost drivers to support decision making.
Lead bid day activities and internal review meetings.
Prepare proposal packages and ensure deliverables meet customer requirements.
