Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Strategic Power & Utilities Business Development organization. You will define multi-year GTM strategy, manage an offshore and on-site global team, and drive cloud and AI adoption with the world’s top energy firms.

You will coordinate executive-level engagements, structure complex agreements, and align cross-functional AWS units to accelerate revenue growth in the power and utilities sector.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with multiple stakeholders and C-level executives.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 16+ years in business development/leadership.
• 15+ years leading global teams in P&U or related sectors.
• Proven ability to structure large-scale commercial agreements ($300M+).
• 5+ years working with cloud, AI/ML, IoT in energy contexts.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a comprehensive strategic GTM plan for the global Power & Utilities sector.
• Structure SFAs including PPAs and AI deployments at scale with large energy firms.
• Lead a global team of BD professionals, guiding multi-divisional deal structuring.
• Serve as primary strategist to energy executives at CxO level.
• Coordinate the pan-Amazon network to drive strategic customer engagements.
• Develop opportunities to generate AWS Agentic AI and cloud revenue.
• Size and qualify market segments and engage key partners.
• Maintain named account maps and hand off opportunities to sales.
• Lead regional/global field enablement for energy deals.
