Job summary

The Hartford Steam Boiler, a Munich Re subsidiary, seeks a Portfolio Underwriter to drive profitable growth through design, negotiation, and stewardship of white-label embedded programs. You will apply advanced underwriting judgment, analytics, and product expertise to align client objectives with HSB's risk appetite and market strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
5+ years of P&C insurance/reinsurance experience.
3+ years underwriting experience preferred.
Demonstrated ability to translate large data analysis into actionable decisions.
Demonstrated understanding of rate development (pure premium), price segmentation & detecting leading loss trends.
