Job summary

The Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB), a Munich Re subsidiary, seeks a Director of Strategic Business Development - Property Solutions to drive growth across the U.S. in large-scale property portfolios.

You will identify high-value opportunities, build executive relationships, and lead complex consultative sales with cross-functional teams to scale sensor-enabled risk solutions. Open to all HSB/Munich Re offices and remote locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Risk Management, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• 8+ years of B2B or enterprise sales experience.
• Proven new-logo sales track record, including prospecting and executive relationship development.
• Experience with REITs, owners/operators, property managers, HOAs/condos, or insurance partners preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue high-value opportunities across the U.S. property market.
• Build executive-level relationships and develop compelling business cases.
• Lead complex consultative sales engagements with cross-functional teams.
• Execute land-and-expand strategy to convert initial deployments into portfolio-wide programs.
