Job summary

The Hartford Steam Boiler (HSB), part of Munich Re, seeks a Portfolio Risk Solutions Product Manager Lead to drive strategy and profitability for the Commercial Equipment Breakdown portfolio. You will be the senior product authority, shaping market-led initiatives and collaborating with underwriting, claims, actuarial, engineering, and business development teams.

Qualifications

10+ years experience with Commercial EB in underwriting or related insurance.
Advanced degree or CPCU desirable.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving to influence change.

Responsibilities

Own the overall product strategy, profitability, growth and performance of HSB's Commercial EB portfolio.
Serve as primary product expert and trusted advisor to partners and stakeholders.
Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities and risks.
Develop and execute product enhancements and strategic initiatives to improve value.
Collaborate with Global Product Owner, Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Engineering, and Business Development.
Leverage analytics and underwriting insights to drive profitable growth.
Represent HSB at industry forums, client meetings, and thought leadership events.
Provide guidance on complex coverage and portfolio management issues.
Lead strategic projects and influence organizational decisions.
