Job summary

Addison Group in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to oversee a multi-property portfolio. The role includes office, medical office, retail, and HOA properties, focusing on operations, financial performance, vendor management, and tenant relations to support ownership objectives.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in commercial property management, knowledge of budgets and leases, and proficiency with MRI/Yardi.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressively responsible commercial property management experience.
• Experience managing commercial budgets, financial reporting, tenant relations, vendor contracts, and capital improvement projects.
• Knowledge of lease administration, operating expense recoveries, CAM reconciliations, and tenant obligations.
• Familiarity with commercial building systems, maintenance operations, safety requirements, and construction terminology.
• Experience overseeing employees, vendors, and contracted service providers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• MRI, Yardi, Angus or AvidXchange experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of a commercial portfolio (office, medical, retail, HOA).
• Manage property performance in line with ownership goals and business plans.
• Maintain compliance with property management agreements and reporting deadlines.
• Support onboarding and portfolio transitions for new clients.
• Communicate financial results, operational concerns, risks, and recommendations to ownership.
• Coordinate maintenance, renovations, and capital projects within approved budgets.
• Manage vendor selection, contracts, bidding, insurance, and service quality.
• Oversee maintenance staff and service providers; prioritize work orders and labor allocation.
• Develop annual operating budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly variance reports.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for ownership.
• Monitor income/expenses to support NOI targets.
• Oversee rent collection, CAM charges, and association assessments.
• Review/approve PO, work orders, and invoices within authorization limits.
• Maintain lease files and enforce lease provisions for ownership.
