Job summary

Truist is seeking a senior operations professional to consolidate analysis across portfolio areas and oversee governance of transformation and run-the-bank work. You will manage intake, evaluation, and funding governance while providing integrated reporting and decision support to Risk & Regulatory, Operate, Core Technology, and Discretionary portfolios.

The role requires leading tech projects, driving process improvements, and coaching junior staff, with in-office requirements and no visa

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related experience.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in business operations or related professional roles.
• Strong knowledge of business processes, technology applications, and operational management.
• Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Leads the execution of larger technology projects, coordinating operational activities to ensure efficiency, reliability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Identifies, designs, and implements process and technology improvements to enhance operational workflows within area of responsibility.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align business operations with technology strategies and organizational goals.
• Analyses and reports on performance metrics to drive continuous operational improvements.
• Executes on operational technology strategies and initiatives to support business objectives.
• Integrates innovative solutions to improve business outcomes and operational effectiveness.
• Guides key external partnerships and leading cost-optimization efforts that enhance financial performance and support organizational objectives.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and risk management standards.
• Communicates operational status, risks, and improvement plans to senior stakeholders and leadership.
• Provides coaching, guidance, and leadership to junior team members and supports their professional development.
