Job summary

AbbVie seeks a National Portfolio Manager to partner across Oncology Nurse Education and Brand teams, translating portfolio strategy into field plans and ensuring alignment with enterprise partners. This role leads through influence, guiding three hematology franchises while supporting education, analytics, and compliant field execution.

Travel up to 30-50% and residency in the US near a metropolitan airport is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, healthcare, business, or life sciences.
• 5+ years in pharmaceutical/healthcare/biotech; oncology/hematology preferred.
• Previous field leadership or field operations experience preferred.
• Strong oncology nursing knowledge and clinical acumen.
• Ability to translate strategy into field execution using data and insights.
• Proven ability to influence without authority across teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Commitment to developing others and organizational capability.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance requirements.
• Strong project management and technology/AI capability.

Responsibilities

• Drive Portfolio Education Strategy & Execution across three franchises.
• Support creation of portfolio nursing education strategy and tactics.
• Lead Through Influence with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Optimize Field Operations with tools, processes, and reporting.
• Advocate for ONE and secure resources and support.
• Enable Field Performance by addressing needs and barriers.
• Leverage Insights & Analytics to guide priorities.
• Lead Strategic Initiatives from strategy to implementation.
• Strengthen Communication & Engagement with executives and teams.
• Advance Innovation & Technology, including AI capabilities.
