Job summary

AbbVie seeks a National Portfolio Manager to partner with the Oncology Nurse Educator team, driving portfolio nursing strategy across three hematology franchises. You will translate brand priorities into field execution, align cross-functional partners, and lead strategic initiatives in a matrixed environment.

The role requires strong clinical and business acumen, stakeholder influence, and the ability to manage complex programs while advancing education and performance in oncology nursing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; nursing, healthcare, business, or life sciences preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech, or related industry experience; oncology/hematology strongly preferred.
• Previous field leadership, sales leadership, field operations, commercial strategy, or field effectiveness experience preferred.
• Clinical & Industry Expertise: oncology clinical acumen and understanding of hematology/oncology treatment.
• Strategic & Business Acumen: translate strategy into field execution; use data to prioritize resources.
• Influence & Collaboration: influence without authority across cross-functional teams.
• Communication: strong presentation and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate oncology portfolio and brand priorities into ONE field priorities and execution.
• Support creation of portfolio above-brand nursing strategy and tactics.
• Lead through influence across cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
• Ensure ONE has effective tools, processes, and infrastructure to execute and comply.
• Represent ONE needs in cross-functional planning and resource justification.
• Identify field needs and mobilize resources to address them.
• Use field data and insights to inform priorities and recommendations.
• Own cross-functional strategic initiatives from strategy through implementation.
• Develop clear communications and executive presentations for alignment.
• Identify opportunities to use AI to improve ONE effectiveness and scalability.
• Partner with Legal and Compliance to meet AbbVie standards.
