Job summary

Fluence, a global leader in energy storage and optimization software, seeks a seasoned Portfolio Finance Manager to oversee financial management and contract administration for a portfolio of large projects in the Americas. You will work with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure revenue, cost, and margin visibility.

The role requires 8–10 years of project finance experience, advanced project accounting, and strong negotiation skills with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

8–10 years of financial management on large projects.
Advanced understanding of project accounting and revenue recognition.
Experience with project lifecycle and commercial contracts.
Negotiation experience with customers and suppliers.
Proficiency with SAP, Unifier or Primavera.
Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

Be financially responsible for a portfolio of the largest and most complex projects within the Americas region.
Provide timely transparency around project performance against budget and manage Estimates at Completion for Revenue, Cost, and Margin.
Ensure adherence to accounting guidelines and commercial terms.
Highlight risks and manage contract penalties and changes.
Mentor junior Portfolio Finance Managers and improve onboarding processes.
