Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, risks, and communications for successful client outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in energy or industrial projects, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering projects valued at ~$100M+.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years in large-scale industrial, power, energy, or BESS projects.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience with contracts around $100M+ and complex delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of large-scale projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, and commissioning.
• Serve as primary client and stakeholder contact, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
• Track performance, prepare status updates, and maintain visibility of deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate risks; manage escalations and issue resolution.
• Ensure documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are met.
• Travel ~15% to project sites and client engagements.
