Job summary

Fluence, a Nasdaq: FLNC leader in intelligent energy storage and optimization software, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects, coordinating clients, suppliers, and Fluence resources to deliver on time and on budget.

Ideal candidate has 10+ years in energy/power/BESS, a BS in engineering, and a proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams in a global matrix organization; PMP or Lean/Six Sigma is preferred. Travel ~15% may be required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale industrial, power, energy, renewable energy, or BESS projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing projects with contract values of approximately $100M+.
• PMP certification and Lean/Six Sigma are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute large-scale BESS projects, managing scope, schedule, budget, and resources.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, and commissioning.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
• Track performance, prepare status updates, and maintain visibility of deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate risks, manage escalations, and support issue resolution.
