Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a strategic and accomplished leader to serve as Manager of the Project Management & Integration (PMI) Subdivision within the Spent Fuel Handling Recapitalization Department.

The PMI Manager will establish and advance the project management framework to support major capital programs, providing direction, organizational leadership, and integration across recapitalization efforts modernizing spent-fuel processing, examination, and testing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical or science field and four years of management experience.
• Or four years of relevant experience plus four years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for project integration, planning, execution, and performance management across multiple major capital projects.
• Partner with senior leaders to support enterprise decision-making, resource planning, and long-range program execution.
• Direct project controls activities, including risk management, performance monitoring, scheduling integration, and budget planning.
• Ensure consistent application and continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and governance across the project portfolio.
• Lead development and execution of communications strategies supporting both project and departmental objectives.
• Build partnerships with Naval Reactors, Capital Projects leadership, Directorate Management Offices, and other stakeholders.
