Job summary

Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with a strong background in cost estimating and PMS support. You will coordinate estimation improvements, develop resource-loaded schedules, and manage budgets across multiple projects within the NNL portfolio.

The role requires coordinating with diverse stakeholders, defining scope, managing risks, and leading knowledge sharing to drive best practices across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 9+ years of relevant experience.
• Master’s degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience developing or reviewing complex project cost estimates within the federal government (DOE or DOD).
• PM credentials (PMI/PMCP) are preferred for leadership and governance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate cost estimating improvements across NNL and PMS.
• Develop cost estimates and resource-loaded schedules; manage budgets.
• Define scope and work breakdown structure for projects.
• Evaluate change requests and ensure alignment with objectives.
• Lead knowledge management and dissemination of lessons learned.
