Job summary

EKHO Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) is seeking a Plant Production Planner in King George, VA to own the production planning and scheduling process for efficient manufacturing. You will balance plant capacity, allocate resources, and liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery and policy adherence.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing operations with strong planning, ERP/MRP experience, and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred.
• Five+ years of progressive manufacturing operations experience.
• Ability to independently manage production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity planning, and inventory control.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, production scheduling, and inventory management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Owns plant production planning and scheduling to align with commitments, capacity, and objectives.
• Establish production priorities by evaluating labor, capacity, material readiness, quality, and delivery schedules.
• Make day-to-day decisions on production schedules, resources, and workflow to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Lead production planning and backlog review meetings; drive cross-functional alignment.
• Ensure production readiness with drawings, approvals, materials, tooling, labor, and documentation.
• Identify constraints and risks; implement corrective actions and escalate as needed.
• Procure project materials and coordinate with vendors to keep production on track.
• Develop and adjust schedules to optimize capacity and respond to changing priorities.
