Job summary

EKHO Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) is seeking a Plant Production Planner in King George, VA to own production planning and scheduling for safe, efficient operations. You’ll balance capacity, allocate resources, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet customer commitments and improve site performance.

You will drive readiness, evaluate constraints, and lead backlog reviews while partnering with plant leadership to optimize throughput and on‑time delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent manufacturing experience preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing operations, production planning or scheduling.
• Ability to independently manage production schedules in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong understanding of planning methods, capacity, inventory and workflows.
• Experience with ERP/MRP, production scheduling, and inventory management.
• Ability to read drawings, documents, and technical specs.
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Owns plant production planning and scheduling to meet commitments and capacity.
• Set production priorities considering labor, capacity, materials, and delivery.
• Make day-to-day schedule decisions and resource allocations.
• Lead planning and backlog review meetings with cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure readiness: drawings, approvals, materials, tooling, and docs.
• Identify constraints and escalate issues needing leadership input.
• Procure materials and supplies with vendors to stay on track.
• Develop and adjust schedules to optimize capacity and meet changes.
• Communicate priorities and changes to leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with Plant Management to improve capacity and efficiency.
• Identify and lead process-improvement opportunities.
