Job summary

EKHO Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) in King George, VA seeks a Plant Production Planner to own planning and scheduling for safe, efficient manufacturing. You will align materials, drawings, and labor with customer commitments, while optimizing capacity and recovery plans across onsite teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience considered.
• 5+ years in manufacturing operations, production planning or scheduling.
• Ability to independently manage schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of planning, capacity, inventory, and workflows.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook; experience with ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to read drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Knowledge of precast concrete processes is preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Own plant production planning and scheduling to meet commitments.
• Set priorities considering labor, capacity, materials and delivery.
• Make day-to-day scheduling and resource decisions to maximize efficiency.
• Lead planning and backlog review meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure readiness by validating drawings, materials, labor, and docs.
• Identify constraints, escalate issues, and drive corrective actions.
• Procure materials and supplies to support the schedule.
• Develop and adjust schedules to optimize capacity and meet changes.
• Communicate priorities, changes, risks, and recovery plans to leadership.
• Collaborate with Plant Management on capacity and performance improvements.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to improve planning, inventory, and on-time delivery.
