Job summary

EKHO Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) seeks a Plant Production Planner in King George, VA. You will own production planning and scheduling, balancing capacity, resources, and customer commitments to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience considered.
• 5+ years in manufacturing operations, production planning or scheduling.
• Ability to independently manage production schedules in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning methodologies and capacity planning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP, MRP, production scheduling and inventory management systems.
• Ability to interpret production drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience (Lean/Six Sigma) preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Own plant production planning and scheduling to align with commitments and capacity.
• Establish priorities considering labor, equipment, materials, and delivery schedules.
• Make day-to-day scheduling decisions to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Lead planning/backlog review meetings across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure readiness by verifying drawings, approvals, materials, tooling, and labor.
• Identify constraints and escalate issues requiring broader leadership involvement.
• Procure project materials with vendors and internal stakeholders to stay on track.
• Develop and adjust schedules to optimize capacity and respond to priorities.
• Communicate priorities, changes, risks, and recovery plans to leadership.
• Partner with Plant Management to develop capacity plans and improve performance.
• Identify and lead process improvements to strengthen planning and delivery.
