Job summary

EKHO Infrastructure Solutions (EIS) is seeking a Plant Production Planner to own the plant production planning and scheduling, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely manufacturing operations. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to align materials, tooling, labor, and documentation with production objectives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Operations Management, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience considered.
• Five or more years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, production planning, scheduling, supply chain, or related industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage production schedules and make operational decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of production planning methodologies, capacity planning, inventory control, and manufacturing workflows.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience utilizing ERP, MRP, production scheduling, and inventory management systems.
• Ability to interpret production drawings, manufacturing documentation, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of precast concrete manufacturing processes is preferred.
• Continuous improvement experience (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar) is preferred.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check

Responsibilities

• Owns the plant production planning and scheduling process to align with customer commitments, capacity, and objectives.
• Establish production priorities and sequencing based on labor, equipment, material, quality, and delivery.
• Make day-to-day decisions on schedules, resources, and workflow adjustments to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery.
• Lead production planning and backlog review meetings with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure production readiness with drawings, approvals, materials, tooling, labor, and documentation.
• Identify constraints, implement corrective actions, and escalate when needed.
• Procure project materials with vendors and internal stakeholders to keep production on track.
• Develop and adjust production schedules to optimize capacity and respond to priority changes.
• Communicate priorities, changes, risks, and recovery plans to leadership and stakeholders.
• Partner with Plant Management to develop capacity plans and improve performance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
