Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Planning Manager to lead a large planning and scheduling organization across engineering and construction for one or more projects in the United States. The role reports to the Project Controls Manager and emphasizes governance, integration, and continuous improvement to meet safe, predictable project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• 13–15 years of relevant experience on major capital projects.
• U.S. work authorization and ability to obtain nuclear facility clearance.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and coordinating large cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and scheduling organization across engineering and construction phases.
• Develop and maintain integrated schedules aligning engineering, procurement, construction, and startup.
• Establish governance standards and ensure EVMS compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors and interface management to optimize work fronts.
• Provide strategic recommendations to project leadership on schedule risk and recovery.
• Present schedule status to senior project leadership and clients.
