Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a Planning Manager to lead engineering and construction planning and scheduling across our projects. You will establish a large planning organization, align engineering, procurement, construction, and startup activities, and drive schedule governance to ensure safe, predictable delivery.

Role may start at a Bechtel home office before transitioning to a designated project site. Requires strong leadership, EVMS experience, and ability to work in complex, regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• 13–15 years of relevant experience or 17–19 years in lieu of degree.
• Legal right to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Experience leading large planning teams on major capital projects.
• Ability to pass nuclear security screening and obtain unescorted access.

Responsibilities

• Establishes and leads the planning and scheduling organization.
• Directs construction schedule development, integration, maintenance, and monitoring.
• Ensures compliance with schedule governance and EVMS requirements.
• Integrates planning with construction execution strategies and interfaces.
• Leads schedule analysis, risk assessment, and recovery planning.
