You will build strong supplier relationships, manage purchase orders, analyze usage patterns, and implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining inventory discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• 5–7 years of procurement and production planning experience.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems such as SAP and ERP tools.

Responsibilities

• Generate, issue, and manage purchase orders to ensure raw materials and consumables are available for production.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure reliable supply and resolve issues.
• Assess and mitigate risks; monitor inventory to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers based on quality, cost, reliability, and lead times.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and on-time delivery.
• Expedite or reschedule deliveries as needed to mitigate risks and production disruptions.
• Collaborate with quality, finance, and production teams on cost improvements and process improvements.
• Support site leadership and cross-functional teams as required.
