Job summary

Prestige Staffing Services is seeking a seasoned Materials Manager to lead planning, scheduling, and procurement for the Fort Wayne area. You will oversee material control, production planning, and distribution of materials to support operations and customer service goals.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in Materials Management, a Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred), and strong Excel expertise with Oracle/SAP knowledge as a plus. This is a direct hire opportunity with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years of Materials Management experience.
Advanced MS Office including Excel; Oracle/SAP proficiency a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage material planning, material control, scheduling, and purchasing functions including customer service, production planning, procurement, storage and distribution of material and product.
Drive activities critical to plant performance by managing projects to instill excellence and best practices.
Control department expenses, increase productivity, elevate service to customers, and further competitive advantage.
Oversee and ensure proper production control planning and scheduling programs to meet sales forecasts and balance manpower and machine requirements.
Develop and implement visual inventory management systems on the production floor.
Integrate sales forecasts, budgets for raw, in-process, and finished goods inventory.
Manage departmental expenses and appropriation requests within budget while focusing on continuous improvement opportunities
