Job summary

Motion Recruitment represents a global retail brand seeking a Manager of Strategic Planning & Insights in Irving, TX. The role is onsite with potential to become hybrid after the initial ramp of 2–3 months, so local candidates are required.

The Manager will partner with senior leadership to transform complex performance data and market trends into executive-ready narratives, supporting growth, market leadership, and strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant corporate strategy and insights experience.
• Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic planning roles, preferably within retail, restaurants, consumer products, or similar.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including storyline development, information hierarchy, visual communication and executive presentation design.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify insights, and develop data-driven business recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively with senior executives, navigate ambiguity, and influence stakeholders through clear communication and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to shape, structure, and translate strategic discussions, business priorities, and complex topics into presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
• Strategic Storyline Development: Identify key messages, structure complex business issues, and develop persuasive storylines that support leadership communication and decision-making.
