The Manager will partner with senior leadership to transform complex performance data and market trends into executive-ready narratives, supporting growth, market leadership, and strategic decisions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant corporate strategy and insights experience.
• Experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or strategic planning roles, preferably within retail, restaurants, consumer products, or similar.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills, including storyline development, information hierarchy, visual communication and executive presentation design.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify insights, and develop data-driven business recommendations.
• Ability to work effectively with senior executives, navigate ambiguity, and influence stakeholders through clear communication and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

Our client, a global retail brand, is actively looking for a Manager of Strategic Planning & Insights to join their team in Irving, TX! This role is onsite but has the potential to become a hybrid position after initial ramp up the first 2-3 months so local candidates are required.

This Manager of Strategic Planning & Insights will be a key partner in shaping the strategic narrative of the company and supporting executive leadership in driving growth and reinforcing market leadership. This role centers on transforming complex business performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives into executive-, board-, and stakeholder-ready narratives that inform decision-making and inspire action.

Working cross-functionally with Market Intelligence & Research, Strategic Insights, Executive Storytelling & Alignment, and Stakeholder Relations, this Manager will synthesize internal and external insights into actionable recommendations, executive communications and presentation materials that support strategic decision-making and stakeholder alignment!

Responsibilities

Executive Presentation Development

• Partner with senior leadership to shape, structure, and translate strategic discussions, business priorities, and complex topics into presentations for senior leadership and the Board.
• Strategic Storyline Development: Identify key messages, structure complex business issues, and develop persuasive storylines that support leadership communication and decision-making.

Executive Communications & Decision Support

• Develop executive briefing materials, strategic recommendations, and discussion documents that support leadership decision-making and alignment around key business priorities.

Strategic Planning Support

• Support strategic planning initiatives through analysis of business performance, market trends, and strategic priorities, translating insights into actionable recommendations for leadership.

Cross-Functional Strategic Partnership

• Partner with business units and functional leaders to align priorities, shape strategic narratives, and support the communication of key business objectives.

Market & Competitive Insights

• Analyze industry trends, competitive dynamics, consumer trends, and other market developments to identify opportunities, risks, and key insights that inform strategic planning.

Executive & Stakeholder Presentations

• Support the development of selected presentations for investors, executive leadership, Board, and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication of the company's strategy and performance.

Required Skills & Experience
