Seneca Resources Company, LLC, the oil & gas exploration and production subsidiary of National Fuel Gas Company, is headquartered in Houston, TX. The Engineer, Strategic Planning, will support corporate planning, forecasting, capital allocation, and strategic decision-making through technical, economic, and analytical evaluations.

You will develop production forecasts for unconventional wells, evaluate opportunities, and provide decision-support tools across functional teams.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering or related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years upstream experience including reservoir engineering in unconventionals.
• Experience with development planning, forecasting, and corporate planning is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Responsabilidades

• Support maintenance and enhancement of NAV and planning models with data quality.
• Develop production forecasts for unconventional wells and economic evaluations.
• Evaluate opportunities using economic, sensitivity, and uncertainty analyses.
• Assess capital investments and identify risks and value drivers.
• Provide technical and economic support for acquisitions, divestitures, and JV activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Subsurface, Asset Development, Marketing, Land, Finance.
• Prepare analyses and recommendations for Strategy Meetings and Board materials.
• Support Investor Relations with benchmarking and market analyses.
• Develop planning standards, governance, and quality-control procedures.
