Job summary

UNS Energy Corporation seeks a strategic Director of Corporate Planning to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the company and its affiliates. You will synthesize complex data into actionable insights, guide governance, and provide executive-level analyses to officers, directors, and the Board.

You will oversee the annual budget, run short- and long-term forecasts, and drive system improvements including OneStream, while supporting rate cases and intercompany allocations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
• 6–8 years of relevant experience with leadership capabilities.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Knowledge of financial statement modeling and accounting principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• CPA/CFA preferred; may substitute for up to two years of experience.
• Experience with rate cases or FERC requirements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget process across business areas.
• Oversee budget reviews and present financial results to leaders.
• Develop short- and long-term forecasts and financial analyses.
• Improve budgeting and planning systems (OneStream).
• Lead financial modeling, capital allocation analysis, and governance.
• Ensure intercompany allocations comply with FERC.
• Support rate cases and data requests.
• Collaborate with Accounting on monthly close and cost-saving initiatives.
• Provide executive and Board-level reporting with strategic recommendations.
