Job summary

Seneca Resources Company, LLC, a subsidiary of National Fuel Gas Company, seeks a Facilities, Pipeline & Installations Engineer in the United States. The role supports engineering for facility, pipeline, and installation projects from concept through commissioning and closeout, balancing safety, cost, and reliability while coordinating with operations, contractors, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible engineering experience in oil and gas, industrial facilities, pipeline systems, infrastructure development, construction support, maintenance engineering, reliability, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating with operations, contractors, field leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Experience with capital project development, cost estimating, AFE support, maintenance programs, CMMS data, or failure analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for facility, pipeline, and installation projects from concept development through commissioning and closeout.
• Apply engineering principles to resolve design, field, operational, maintenance, reliability, and construction-related challenges.
• Develop recommendations balancing safety, compliance, constructability, cost, schedule, production impact, reliability, and maintainability.
• Provide clear technical direction to operations, field leadership, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Identify recurring problems, perform or support root cause analysis, and develop sustainable corrective actions.
