WeGo Public Transit in Nashville is seeking a Planning & Development Coordinator to provide high-level project administration and executive support within the Development Division. The role coordinates capital project activities, maintains dashboards, and supports cross-department collaboration to advance planning initiatives across the agency.

The ideal candidate is organized and adaptable, with exposure to leadership, policymaking, and operational aspects of transit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, urban planning, political science, business, or related field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in public sector, transit, or community development preferred.
• Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Familiarity with project management tools, GIS, or Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate capital project activities, including tracking deliverables, schedules, and milestones.
• Maintain project dashboards, calendars, and documentation for leadership review.
• Coordinate consultant and contractor communications and procurement activities.
• Prepare project status reports and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support grant applications and reporting for transit capital funding.
