Hawaii State Department of Education seeks an Institutional Analyst II under the Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent. The role conducts data analysis, prepares reports, and supports planning and policy initiatives, with emphasis on data-driven decision making.

The position is a 12-month appointment with vacation and sick leave per regulations. A written exam may be administered to assess knowledge and abilities related to the minimum qualifications.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in political science or business administration with coursework in public administration, management accounting, and research statistics.
• Four years of professional work experience in program planning and analysis, budgeting, and/or public administration, with at least one year in an education program, agency or system.
• Knowledge of public administration, organization theory, management accounting, business statistics, and related IT systems.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct analyses and reporting activities, compiling data, evaluating findings, and presenting results clearly.
• Participate in planning, process improvement and issues resolution; develop guidelines, plans and priorities with stakeholders.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
