Job summary

ATX Specialty Foods in Kyle, TX seeks a Planner Buyer to own replenishment and material planning for key raw materials and packaging. The role relies on Excel-based tools while the ERP go-live is completed, then shifts toward MRP oversight and supplier analytics.

You will work with production, procurement, and sales to ensure material availability, manage POs, and align open orders with the weekly production schedule, while improving supplier performance metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in buying/planning in manufacturing or food production.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Aptean, D365, SAP, NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Own replenishment cycle for assigned raw material and packaging categories.
• Analyze production schedules to generate weekly material requirements and buying plans.
• Build and maintain Excel-based replenishment and inventory trackers.
• Post go-live, manage replenishment through ERP and review PO suggestions.
• Monitor MRP exceptions and address shortages or excess inventory.
