Job summary

ATX Specialty Foods, a fast-growing producer of dips and sauces, seeks a Planner Buyer in Kyle, TX. The role combines procurement execution and material planning, building Excel tools, managing replenishment, and supporting production scheduling before ERP go-live.

The position reports to the Supply Chain Manager and requires advanced Excel skills, ERP experience, and strong vendor coordination in a fast-paced environment. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 annually with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in buying, planning, or supply chain in manufacturing or food production.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex workbooks, formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data validation.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Aptean, D365, SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
• Proven ability to manage multiple open orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear communicator with vendors, production teams, and leadership.
• Self-starter mentality; able to build structure where processes are developing.

Responsibilities

• Own replenishment cycles for assigned categories from demand signal to PO issuance and delivery confirmation.
• Analyze schedules and demand to generate weekly material requirements and buying plans; Excel-based, moving to ERP MRP at go-live.
• Build and maintain Excel-based replenishment and inventory trackers as the ERP go-live preparation tool.
• Post go-live, manage replenishment through ERP; review PO suggestions, adjust for exceptions, release orders.
