Job summary

Jenner & Block LLP seeks a seasoned Pitch and Pursuits Manager to guide practice-specific pitches, proposals, and marketing materials. This hands-on role supports the Business Development and Marketing team, leading projects from concepts to winning proposals.

The role may be filled in Washington, D.C. or Chicago; compensation depends on experience and location. Key responsibilities include content development, collaboration with partners, and process leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of marketing in professional services.
• Experience in a pitch function and ability to lead and teach a team.
• MBA or JD is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead key pitch, proposal and RFxs in designated practice areas or industries.
• Collaborate with partners, BD leads, and subject matter experts to develop clear, compelling proposals.
• Pose questions to elicit client messaging and differentiating themes.
• Develop, organize, and manage content for pitch documents and collateral.
• Manage contribution process with version control.
• Work with design to develop graphics and visuals.
• Ensure quality control and apply brand standards to pitches and presentations.
• Prepare activity reports on progress and success rates.
