Job summary

Eversheds Sutherland (US) LLP in Chicago seeks a Senior Manager, Client Development – Pitch and Proposal to lead high‑stakes pitches, proposals and RFP responses from evaluation to delivery. You will partner with firm leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders to shape messaging and position the firm competitively.

Responsibilities include elevating content, integrating pricing with proposals, and driving continuous improvement to win more complex opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
Ten or more years in a business development role in a large, multi-office law firm or professional services firm.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end pitch and proposal development; define win themes and messaging.
Advise senior leadership; communicate recommendations with confidence.
Navigate competing priorities and align diverse stakeholders.
Own project strategy, planning and delivery; manage risks and deadlines.
Elevate messaging and narrative development for client audiences.
Integrate pricing, analytics and firm capabilities with proposals.
Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools and content strategy.
Manage the US Pitch team, set goals and foster accountability.
Contribute to long-term function strategy and future evolution of the pitch function.
