Job summary

WellSpan Health seeks an experienced Physician Recruiter to conduct, coordinate, and organize searches for physicians and APCs. The role develops marketing plans, sources and screens applicants, coordinates interviews, and facilitates licensure and credentialing processes.

You will collaborate with practice managers and administrators, build candidate relationships, manage candidate travel and relocation, and maintain records while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Able to exercise initiative, judgment and decision making in meeting objectives.
• Able to work independently and search for new approaches.
• Able to establish and maintain relations with candidates and their spouses.

Responsibilities

• Develops a marketing plan to recruit applicants including postings and mailings.
• Coordinates candidate interviews with practice managers and escorts candidates to sites.
• Assists candidates with licensure, DEA, and hospital privileging pre-application.
• Acts as an ambassador for the health system and community.
