Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Physician Recruiter Specialist to source, identify, and screen physician candidates to fulfill strategic recruitment plans across southeast Michigan. You will collaborate with administrators and clinical leaders to ensure all steps in the recruitment process are completed.

The role involves leading physician leadership searches, coordinating candidate sourcing, interviews, travel, and onboarding activities, and assisting in compensation discussions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a health care related field required.
• Experience in a collaborative environment, especially with physicians.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for recruitment opportunities, coordinating with leaders to complete steps in the process.
• Lead recruiter for physician leadership searches (Chair/Chiefs, Medical Directors, etc.).
• Coordinate all candidate sourcing: ads, boards, outreach, fairs, and society meetings; liaise with placement firms as needed.
• Establish relationships with physicians; gather information for due diligence and complete applicant tracking in Workday.
• Discuss benefits, relocation guidelines, and policies with candidates; supervise interviews and candidate travel.
