Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced physician recruiter to source and recruit qualified candidates system-wide, aligning recruitment plans with the organization’s strategies and goals.

You will develop and implement complex recruitment plans, screen candidates, and build strong relationships with site partners and leadership, guiding compensation, immigration, and employment considerations for a long-term fit.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in physician or executive recruitment.
• Ability to source candidates via diverse channels.
• Knowledge of employment laws impacting recruitment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build relationships with physicians and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and sources targeted physicians using multiple recruitment methods such as web advertising, mining websites, email blasts, social media, journal ads, direct mail, telemarketing, networking, referrals, phone interviews, conference attendance, and search firms.
• Develops and implements complex recruitment plans aligned with organizational strategies and objectives; screens and interviews candidates for fit.
• Establishes regular communications with site partners to share recruitment progress and obtain feedback; maintains practice descriptions with leadership.
• Builds long-term relationships with candidates and maintains candidate pipelines across extended recruitment cycles.
• Educates leadership on recruitment process timelines, market availability, compensation, immigration needs, and employment law.
