Job summary

Tufts Medicine is seeking a senior leader to oversee physician compensation strategy, plan design, administration, analytics, benchmarking, governance, and regulatory support for its employed physician enterprise. You’ll partner with clinical and administrative leadership to ensure market-competitive, compliant, and financially sustainable compensation programs across academic and community groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Economics, Human Resources, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 7 years of progressive physician compensation experience.
• Experience designing and evaluating physician compensation plans.
• Experience with benchmark surveys (MGMA, AMGA, SullivanCotter, AAMC).
• Experience presenting analyses to physician leadership and executives.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, implementation, and ongoing refinement of physician compensation methodologies across employed physician groups.
• Develops recommendations regarding compensation structures, salary models, productivity incentives, quality incentives, value-based components, and recruitment arrangements.
• Maintains physician compensation plan documents, methodologies, policies, procedures, and governance.
• Directs the administration of physician compensation programs, ensuring data integrity of calculations and reporting.
• Presents physician compensation analyses to the TMMG Compensation Committee and governance bodies.
• Supports compliance with applicable regulations and collaborates with external valuation consultants.
