Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks a senior leader to own physician compensation strategy across employed physician groups. You will design, implement, and refine compensation programs aligned with market data, regulatory requirements, and financial sustainability.

You will collaborate with the Total Rewards team, physician leadership, HR, and finance to deliver data-driven recommendations, benchmark data, and innovative incentive structures for academic and community physicians.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Seven years of progressive experience in physician compensation or healthcare compensation roles.
• Experience designing, implementing, administering, and evaluating physician compensation plans.
• Experience with physician compensation benchmark surveys (MGMA, AMGA, SullivanCotter, AAMC).
• Experience presenting compensation analyses to physician leadership and executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and refinement of physician compensation methodologies across employed groups.
• Develop recommendations for salary models, incentives, and value-based components.
• Maintain compensation plan documents, policies, and governance materials.
• Direct administration of compensation programs ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Serve as the benchmark data resource on market trends and best practices.
• Manage participation in physician compensation surveys and benchmarking.
