Job summary

CDW LLC is seeking Consulting Engineers in the United States to plan, design, implement, and support advanced Physical Security Systems. You will work with client teams, configure surveillance and access controls, and help manage projects end-to-end while coordinating with Account Managers and Partners.

Travel between 25% and 50% is expected. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years or 7+ years IT experience are required. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or related technical field and 3 years delivering complex technical solutions; or 7 years IT experience with 3+ years in delivery.
• Minimum 2 years of consulting experience.
• Minimum 2 years related infrastructure/network experience.
• Genetec or Milestone systems engineering experience.
• Experience with programming or analytical work.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients to plan, design, implement, and support Physical Security Systems.
• Develop and implement network architecture and physical design; analyze existing systems and recommend solutions.
• Set up, configure, and test surveillance, access control, sensors, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware/software problems.
• Assist in project management per CDW methodology and manage timelines.
