Job summary

CDW is seeking a Senior Consulting Engineer to design, deploy and support advanced physical security solutions for enterprise clients. You will work with cross‑functional teams on high‑visibility projects and craft architectures for video surveillance, access control, sensors, and integrations.

This role requires hands‑on Genetec or Verkada systems experience, strong networking skills, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience delivering complex technical solutions.
• Hands-on Genetec or Verkada Systems Engineering experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work weekends/off hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform client consultation: plan, design, implement, and support Physical Security Systems.
• Develop and implement technical architecture and network design for Physical Security Systems.
• Set up, configure, and test systems including video surveillance, access control, sensors, and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade complex hardware/software problems.
• Interface with project stakeholders to manage timelines and expectations.
• Lead design workshops for complex designs to meet objectives.
