Job summary

Waters is seeking Pharmaceutical Technical Sales Specialists to engage sophisticated pharma and biotech customers, translating complex science into actionable business value. You will work with Account Managers to shape strategies, run demonstrations, and guide evaluations from concept through proof-of-concept.

You will travel nationally, bring deep scientific credibility, and partner across marketing and service teams to accelerate win rates and revenue in key accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Advanced degree (PhD or Master’s) in relevant science discipline.
• Experience in technical sales, applications, laboratory, or customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across complex pharma/biotech sales opportunities.
• Partner with Account Managers to shape deal strategy and advance opportunities.
• Deliver demonstrations, presentations, and scientific consultations to customers.
• Translate scientific requirements into tailored solution recommendations.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand workflows and desired outcomes.
