Job summary

Cencora, Inc. seeks a Senior Category Manager to develop and manage strategic relationships with external generic pharmaceutical injectable and biosimilar manufacturers.

You will lead supplier contract negotiations and formulary sourcing strategies, while acting as a key liaison between manufacturers and internal teams. The role requires deep knowledge of the generic sourcing and/or manufacturing space, strong financial acumen, and excellent negotiation skills, with experience in contract

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Deep understanding of generic sourcing and/or manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with contract management and supplier relations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with external generic pharmaceutical injectable and biosimilar manufacturers.
• Lead supplier contract negotiations and formulary sourcing strategies.
• Serve as liaison between suppliers and internal cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain).
• Lead manufacturer business reviews and resolve commercial challenges with minimal supervision.
• Manage distribution contracts and support optimization of Cencora's wholesale/distribution networks.
